Can 'items' be haunted???

The 'haunted' wardrobe
We had recently bought this item for our new house, as we needed a cheap wardrobe quickly. No reason for taking the photo really, at the time we were in the process of decorating, and taking lots of the house in it's 'original' state. However, looking at the phot after, I was surprised at the sheer number of 'orbs' in the picture, all seeming to eminate from the wardrobe, both on it, and around it. I had cleaned it, inside and out, before bringing it in the house, so I don't think it was dust, and there were no other 'orbs' photgraphed in the same room, or anywhere else in the house.
It's difficult to see, without enlarging the picture, but one of the 'orbs' can be seen to be coming out of the wardrobe, half hidden by the door, as though it was coming from the inside out.
Quite why this item had so much attached to it, I don't know, but each time it was in a picture, it had 'orbs' on it, or near it, but never as many as this photo shows. We still have the wardrobe, and, to date, we have never had any problems with it!
