MEMBERSHIP
We have, in the past offered  membership, and taken all interested persons as members. However, it became apparent that the huge interest in the Paranormal was having a detrimental effect on serious Paranormal Investigation. Unfortunately, most members were interested in little more than 'thrill seeking' and some behaviour was unacceptable to both founder members of Gateway Paranormal Society, and the venue providers we worked closely with.
 
 
ALL GROUP MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO HELP MAKE THE GROUP WORK -
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US REGARDING MEMBERSHIP IF YOU ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN GOING ON EVENTS (as this is a very small part of what the group entails!)

We still offer MEMBERSHIP to those individuals with a SERIOUS interest in Paranormal Investigation.  The cost of membership is currently £20.00 per annum (2010-2011) and £4.00 per meeting attended (this is towards venue hire charges & refreshments).

PLEASE NOTE WHEN APPLYING FOR MEMBERSHIP:
 
  1. We will initially contact you by EMAIL so please ensure you give us a valid email address. We try and contact people promptly and usually within 7 days. If you have not received an email during this time, please check your SPAM folder or contact us again - your email address may have been wrong.
  2. We no longer send out Application Forms. You will first need to attend a meeting.
  3. We will send a MAXIMUM of 2 emails with meeting dates. If you do not respond to either email we will assume you are no longer interested and your contact details will be removed.
  4. You will need to attend a meeting before being offered Provisional Membership. If you do not attend a meeting, and subsequently do not show at the next meeting we will assume you are no longer interested and remove your contact details.
  5. Not all applications are successful (please read the rules of membership)
  6. EVENTS & MEETINGS listed on the Website are for MEMBERS only. You will need to attend a meeting and be offered membership before you are eligible to attend EVENTS.
